We Are Ready to Work with Armenia on This Issue: Hajiyev

The implementation of the transportation project through Iran does not mean that the route through Armenia is no longer being considered. We are ready to work with Armenia on this issue.

This was stated by Hikmet Hajiyev, the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan for foreign policy affairs, in an interview with Berliner Zeitung. Azerbaijani media reports this information.

"The transportation connections between Armenia and Nakhchivan will not affect the sovereignty of Armenia. We are ready to consider models such as Kaliningrad," he noted.
