Tigran Arzakanzyan Clarifies His Arrest at Zvartnots Airport

The president of the 'Force of the Fatherland' party, Tigran Arzakanzyan, has addressed his arrest at Zvartnots Airport on his Facebook page.

“Many are still concerned about the incident that took place at Zvartnots Airport. I was about to travel and had taken with me a legally acquired weapon, but there was a mix-up with the baggage, which resulted in me being able to provide the necessary documents three hours late,” wrote the political figure.

He also added that everything has been resolved, and he is now in the UAE with his family. According to him, all legal matters have been fully addressed.

It should be noted that Arzakanzyan was arrested on December 29, 2023, when 16 rounds of an unknown type of firearm were discovered in his handbag.
