Ebrahim Raisi Delays Visit to Turkey
The leader of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, has postponed his planned visit to Turkey on January 4 due to a terrorist attack that occurred in Kerman on Wednesday, which resulted in the deaths of over a hundred people.
Earlier, several explosions were reported at a cemetery in Kerman, where a memorial ceremony was taking place for Qassem Soleimani, who was killed on January 3, 2020, in a U.S. airstrike near Baghdad airport. According to Tasnim agency, there were two packages at the entrance of the cemetery containing bombs that could be detonated remotely.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated that those responsible for the terrorist acts at Qassem Soleimani's grave in Kerman will be punished, emphasizing that their actions will not hinder the preservation of Islamic ideals. He referred to those involved in the explosions as enemies of the nation.
