Current Situation on Armenia's Roads

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

“Until February 15, due to road renovation works, the section of the M-6 highway near Vanadzor-Alaverdi between kilometers 38-40 will be closed for buses and trucks. A detour will operate through the town of Noyemberyan.

The roads from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and to Kari Lake are closed in the Aragatsotn region.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires,” the report states.
