When Will the Process Start to Eliminate the Deficiencies of the Yeraskh-Ordubad-Meghri-Horadis Railway Infrastructure?

There are certain calculations related to the Yeraskh-Ordubad-Meghri-Horadis railway. This was stated by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia, Gnel Sanosyan, during a meeting with journalists.

“In the Yeraskh section, if I remember correctly, there is about 1 kilometer that requires construction work, the entire section in Meghri. We have certain calculations, and in the initial phase, in 2021, we had preliminary calculations. Later, we commissioned the Architectural Engineering University to do more detailed work, and the team did a good job,” he said.

According to Sanosyan, if political decisions lead to a resolution, the process of eliminating existing deficiencies in the infrastructure will begin.

It should be noted that Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated that the unblocking process begins with the re-operation of the Yeraskh-Horadis railway.
