Shamshyan.com published a photo report on December 26 about a dispute between a group of individuals near the "Tsghotner" restaurant complex in Yerevan, which ended in murder. Shortly after the publication, the news outlet received phone calls from several citizens stating that the situation had escalated and no physical altercation had occurred; rather, three individuals had simply exchanged severe insults, and interestingly, they did not deny that a murder had taken place.

The news outlet presents exclusive footage where a "razborka" (a term for a shootout or brawl) took place instead of a fight. As previously reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, a murder occurred in Yerevan on December 26. Around 11:25 PM, a call was received at the Central Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stating that a citizen with a "cut wound in the right inguinal region, profuse bleeding" diagnosis had been brought to them in a deceased condition.

A police operational group led by the head of the Central Division, Yervand Nikoyan, and head of the Criminal Investigation Department M. Garakyan had been dispatched to the hospital. Upon arrival, police established that the deceased was 49-year-old Kamo G., a resident of Yerevan.

On December 26, around 10:30 PM, near the intersection of Tolstoy and Artisans Street, Kamo G. was engaged in a dispute regarding domestic issues with Yerevan residents 17-year-old Seyran G., 16-year-old Davit L., 49-year-old Tigran B., 37-year-old Sergei P., and 30-year-old Haik K., during which they grossly violated public order, exchanged insults, and physical blows. During this altercation, Edmond H., armed with a knife, struck Kamo G., leading to his death.

According to reports, following necessary operational investigative measures, police discovered Tigran B. near 49 Zavaryan Street. He was arrested on suspicion of hooliganism and taken to the Central Division of Police. Meanwhile, officers at the scene, along with responding personnel from the Armenian Investigative Committee for the Central and Norq Marash administrative regions, found traces of blood.

Based on the incident, a criminal case for murder and hooliganism has been initiated at the investigative division of the Central and Norq Marash administrative regions.
