Video: Police Officer Breaks Ice to Save 12-Year-Old Boy in Russia

A police officer in the Volgograd region of Russia jumped into an ice-covered river to save a drowning child. This was reported by various Telegram channels.

On December 26, passersby spotted a child trapped in the ice of the local Mokray Machetka river. Witnesses called the police and emergency services.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police officer jumped into the water and broke through the ice with his hands to rescue the 12-year-old schoolboy.

It has been reported that the boy has been hospitalized, and his life is no longer in danger.
