Benefits for Those Displaced from Artsakh Will Be Provided Retroactively
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is now accepting online applications for one-time child benefits and benefits for children under two years old. If approved, these benefits will be granted retroactively. This was announced today by Davit Khachatryan, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia.
"The benefits will be calculated starting from October 1, and individuals forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh will receive their accumulated benefits until December 31," he said.
Regarding maternity benefits, individuals forcibly displaced from Artsakh must not submit their applications online but should visit the territorial unit of the Unified Social Service and present the necessary documents related to maternity (decree) leave.
He also reminded that registration in Armenia is a mandatory condition for receiving all types of benefits.
In the case of the third child and beyond, one-time support can only be received by individuals forcibly displaced from Artsakh after acquiring Armenian citizenship.
