Proposal for Annual Parking Fee of 300,000 AMD in Zone A Under Consideration by City Council

The Yerevan City Council is discussing a draft decision regarding the establishment of parking tariffs for 2024, which includes new rates for parking in the city center.

It is proposed to categorize Yerevan's central area into zones, with an annual parking fee of 300,000 AMD for Zone A, while Zone B would have a fee of 24,000 AMD.

For service parking lots in Zone A, the proposal sets the fees at 25,000 AMD for one month, 300,000 AMD for one year, 300 AMD for each hour, and 2,000 AMD for each day.

Zone A will include areas such as Grigor Lusavorich, Agatangeghos, Khanzadyan, Alek Manukyan, Charents, Koryun, Abovyan Park, Isahakyan, Moscow, Saryan, and Leo streets, specifically covering parts of Arami, Amiryan, Buzandi, Gevorg Kochar, Zakyan, Zoryan, Tumanyan, Italy, Leo, Karen Demirchyan, Koghbatsuy, Republic, Melik-Adamyan, Mher Mkrtchyan, Tigran Mets from Horenatsi street, parts of Republic Avenue, Pushkin, Saryan, Vazgen Sargsyan, Typographers, Isahakyan, from the Maseda Vekor street to Agatangeghos street, Moscow, Nalbandyan, Vardanants, from Sakharov Square to Khanzadyan street, Teryan, Alek Manukyan, Abovyan, Charents, Koryun, Agatangeghos, St. Grigor Lusavorich, Beirut, Khanzadyan, Paronyan streets, from Baghramyan, Mashtots to Isahakyan street, Mashtots, Sayat Nova, Tigran Mets from Republic Square to Agatangeghos street, and Shahumyan and Sakharov Squares.

In Zone B, the proposal suggests tariffs of 1,000 AMD for each day, 2,000 AMD for one week, 4,000 AMD for one month, and 24,000 AMD for one year.
