VIDEO: Tu-154 Aircraft Caught Fire in Chita

A Tu-154 aircraft model caught fire at the Rainbow Zoo located on Romanovskiy Trakt in Chita. The fire has been localized. This was reported to MK on December 25 by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Transbaikal Territory.

"The report of the fire concerning the Tu-154 aircraft model was received at 15:39. Crews from firefighting and rescue teams 2 and 4 have been dispatched to the scene. The fire director has designated a high level of fire outbreak. Additional forces and resources have been allocated," stated the press service.

According to the agency, the fire is located inside the non-operational aircraft, burning the internal upholstery. The fire has been contained, with 16 firefighters participating in the extinguishing efforts, using four fire vehicles.
