Video: Major Fire at One of Yerevan's Famous Stores, Injuries Reported

A major fire broke out today in Yerevan. Auroranews received an alert regarding the incident.

Around 1:30 PM, the 9-11 Emergency Management National Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call that a fire had ignited in a store on the first floor of building number 36 on Tigran Mets Avenue.

Firefighting units from Yerevan's 3rd and 8th fire and rescue brigades arrived at the scene, and a large number of patrol officers not only cordoned off the area but also worked alongside the firefighters to combat the spread of the fire.

According to preliminary information, one individual, a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has been taken to the hospital. No further details have been reported.
