It is Revealed How Much Unauthorized Advertising Has Been Removed in Yerevan

In the past three weeks, 1,410 unauthorized advertisements have been dismantled in Yerevan. This was announced at a working meeting of the Yerevan City Hall.

Mayor Tigran Avinyan reminded that new standards for advertising were adopted in the spring of this year. “The visual litter that we saw everywhere in the form of advertisements may have become something we accepted as normal, but in reality, it was not normal. These cleaning efforts are very important. I am confident that the advertisements installed in accordance with our new criteria, which are much more acceptable for the urban environment, will significantly change the appearance of the city,” he said.
