Peskov: We Know This Position Well, It Cannot Change the Course of Events
The stance of Western countries, based on the necessity to achieve the defeat of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine, will not change the actual course of events. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, while commenting on British Foreign Secretary David Cameron's statements that the UK and France will support Ukraine as much as necessary until Russia's defeat. The information was reported by TASS.
“Perhaps my colleagues at the Foreign Ministry will comment on this, but it is a continuation of a well-known position,” said Peskov. According to him, such a stance will eventually lead to resource depletion and the involvement of those countries in the Ukrainian conflict.
“We know this position well, it cannot change the course of events,” the Kremlin representative emphasized.
