Zaluzhnyi Criticizes Zelensky's Decision
President Volodymyr Zelensky's decision to dismiss the heads of all regional military enlistment offices in Ukraine has led to issues in organizing mobilization within the country's armed forces. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, in a conversation with reporters. The information was reported by TASS.
"They were professionals; they knew how to do this," he said in response to a question about the impact of the dismissal of regional military enlistment offices on the mobilization process in Ukraine. Zaluzhnyi's remarks were quoted by the Ukrainian publication Strana.
"As for the issue of mobilization, it should not be strengthened but rather returned to the parameters and frameworks that previously worked," the commander stated in a video released by the Ukrainian publication Klymenko Time. According to Zaluzhnyi, the current challenge facing the Ukrainian army is replacing servicemen who have been at the front lines for an extended period.
