VIDEO: Crocodile in the City Center Amid Floods in Australia

Julya

Record rainfall across various regions of Australia has caused flooding, including in northern Queensland, where a crocodile was spotted in one of the cities, reports BBC.

Due to extreme weather conditions brought on by a tropical cyclone, some areas experienced a year's worth of rain in just a short period. At Cairns Airport in Queensland, planes found themselves submerged, while a crocodile was seen swimming through central streets, which was later rescued by emergency services.

Numerous roads and houses have been flooded, and power outages have occurred. Several rivers have overflowed their banks, forcing people to flee their homes by boat.

It is reported that heavy rains are expected to continue in the coming days, according to forecasts.
