VIDEO: Russia Cannot, Like Some Countries, Trade Its Sovereignty for Sausages, Putin
Russians must remember that the Russian Federation will either be a sovereign state or not exist at all; this should be in their minds and hearts. This statement was made by President Vladimir Putin during a speech at the 21st congress of the United Russia party. The information was reported by TASS.
According to Putin, Russia cannot, like some countries, trade its sovereignty for sausages and become someone else's satellite.
“We must remember and never forget and teach our children. Russia will either be an independent, sovereign power, or it will not exist at all. This is something very important that must always be in our minds and hearts,” he said.
The Russian leader emphasized that they will decide and shape their future.
“This is the outlook of a sovereign state, the basis for real civic consolidation and joint work,” he added.
