We Have 5-8 Years: Germany's Defense Minister on Military Threats

European countries must prepare for new military threats. To do so, they need to strengthen their defensive capabilities as much as possible. This was stated by Germany's Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. The information was reported by Lenta.ru.

“We have 5-8 years to achieve everything concerning the armed forces, industry, and society,” he said.

Pistorius believes that Europe may face new military challenges while Washington shifts its focus to the Indo-Pacific region. He indicated that Europe might need to increase the volume of aid provided to Kyiv, if the White House does not approve new funding for Ukraine.
