Air Temperature to Decrease, Precipitation Expected in Some Regions

On December 16, the weather in the territory of the Republic of Armenia is expected to be dry, continuing through the night of the 17th and into the daytime of the 18th, according to the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center.

On December 17 during the day and on the night of the 18th, some regions will experience precipitation, with snow expected in mountainous and foothill areas. On the morning of the 18th, there will be expected icy conditions on the roads.

The wind will be northwesterly, with a speed of 2-5 m/s, but on December 17, isolated areas may experience wind gusts reaching 17-20 m/s, with blizzard conditions anticipated in mountainous zones.

The air temperature during the day on December 17 is expected to drop by 3-5 degrees, and by an additional 7-10 degrees on the nights of the 18th and 19th.

In Yerevan, the weather will also be dry on December 16, the night of the 17th, and from the 18th to the 20th. Precipitation is forecasted for the day and evening of December 17. The capital will experience daytime temperatures ranging from +9 to +11 degrees on December 16.
