Current Situation on Armenian Roads and in Lars

The Rescue Service reports that there is a closed road within the territory of Armenia.

The highway from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to Kari Lake is closed.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations’ North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open to all types of vehicles.

Motorists are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
