USA and Canada Expand Anti-Russian Sanctions
The United States and Canada on Tuesday, December 12, expanded their lists of anti-Russian sanctions. This was reported on the respective official portals of the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Canadian government.
As a result, 30 citizens of Russia have been added to the Canadian sanctions list. In turn, the list of U.S. sanctions has been expanded to include 23 individuals from Russia, China, Pakistan, South Korea, and Turkey.
Additionally, over 200 entities from Russia, China, Turkey, the UAE, the UK, and the Maldives have come under U.S. restrictions, affecting industries such as finance, mineral extraction, and media.
