Video: You've Been Deceiving Us for a Month Now - Simidian Did Not Approach Protest Participants

Employees of fish farms protesting near the government building addressed Armenia's Minister of Environment, Hakob Simidian, saying, “You’ve been deceiving us for a month now.”

Simidian was waiting for the arrival of the Prime Minister near the government’s third building. He did not approach the protest participants, stating from a distance that they would meet and propose solutions.

It is noteworthy that representatives of the fish farms closed the back entrance to the Ministry of Environment building to prevent Prime Minister Pashinyan from leaving.

Additionally, the representatives of fish farming enterprises are demanding the postponement of the draft amendments to the Water Code, which stipulates that fish farming enterprises in Armenia drawing water from underground boreholes must use solely water circulation-saving systems.
