11 Kindergarten Directors Dismissed from Their Positions

The press secretary of the Yerevan Mayor, Hayk Kostanyan, announced on his Facebook page: "Dear colleagues, due to the incident that occurred at community-based kindergarten No. 94 (unacceptable behavior of the group educator), I would like to inform you that the director of kindergarten No. 94, the educator of the kindergarten, as well as the head of the education, culture, and sports department of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, have been dismissed from their positions.

Additionally, I would like to inform you that as a result of recent actions taken by the National Security Service of Armenia in preschool educational institutions, 11 more kindergarten directors have been dismissed. This is all the information we have on the matter at this time," he stated. Earlier, it was reported that an educator at the kindergarten had subjected a 3.5-year-old child to violence.
