Accident in Shirak Province: Vehicles Collide, Pedestrian Struck, Several Injured

On December 9, at 07:24, the crisis management center of the Shirak regional rescue service received a call reporting an accident on the Artik-Alagyaz highway, with a citizen trapped and requiring rescue assistance. This information was provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs rescue service.

A firefighting team from the regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that an Opel car (driver: B.M., born in 1991) collided with a parked GAZelle truck (driver: H.M., born in 1962), which subsequently struck N.M. (born in 1987).

The passenger of the Opel was trapped. Both N.M. and H.M. were hospitalized, where doctors assessed their medical condition as satisfactory.

Rescuers deactivated the vehicles' electrical systems, closed the gas cylinder valves, and extricated M.M. (born in 1963), the passenger of the Opel, from the wreckage. He was taken to an ambulance and later hospitalized, where his condition was assessed as severe.
