Turkey's Foreign Ministry Wishes for Swift Signing of Peace Agreement Between Armenia and Azerbaijan
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes the joint statement from the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan, which expresses support for continuing discussions on "taking additional steps." This is stated in a declaration from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"We welcome the decision to undertake certain concrete steps aimed at strengthening trust between the two countries, as announced in the joint statement from the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan, and we support the decision to continue additional discussions. We wish for the swift signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which will become one of the important events in the process of establishing permanent peace and stability in the South Caucasus," the statement reads.
