If Azerbaijan and Turkey are together, it is normal because you have issues with both of them: Turkish journalist is a guest of Petros Ghazaryan
Armenia and Turkey should talk about peace, emphasized Emre Diner, head of the international news department of TGRT news agency, during his visit with Petros Ghazaryan on the evening of December 7. "If two neighbors are fighting in one building, the other residents of the building should not intervene," he noted while discussing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
He urged Armenia not to turn to France, nor to accept weapons from it, stressing that it is an independent state and should not involve others. "If Azerbaijan and Turkey are together, it is normal because you have issues with both of them. In state relations, one should not say, 'you did this in the past,' or 'he said this.' If we lead this way, we will not get anywhere. I really love this saying: 'Peace is made by the brave,'" the Turkish interlocutor remarked.
Diner is confident that "Turkey wants to have zero problems with its neighbors. Today, whatever anyone wants to say, without Turkey, there will be no Middle East, South Caucasus, or Europe."
Petros Ghazaryan retorted, "From your words, it seems that Turkey and Azerbaijan offer to live peacefully, and Armenia is the one hindering it. In fact, it is the opposite; despite everything, despite the Genocide, it is Armenia that is proposing to establish peace, while Turkey and Azerbaijan are the ones obstructing it."
