Tragic Incident in Yerevan: Man Found Dead in Elevator Shaft of His Home

On December 6, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 11:05 PM, the emergency hotline of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call reporting that a citizen had died in the elevator shaft of a house on one of the alleyways of Shahumyan Street.

According to Shamshyan, the police requested the assistance of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Rescue Service to retrieve the body. A firefighting rescue unit was dispatched to the scene.

Following the incident, the Malatia Investigative Division initiated a criminal case on grounds of "murder."
