The State Revenue Committee Urges to Clear Customs for Temporarily Imported Vehicles as Soon as Possible

The State Revenue Committee reports that the customs clearance process for motor vehicles classified under commodity code 8703, temporarily imported for personal use by individuals from non-EAEU states, began on December 5, 2023, at the Northern Customs Office in Armenia.

As of December 8, approximately 700 temporarily imported vehicles have already completed the customs clearance process. Currently, around 1 billion AMD has been paid into the state budget by beneficiaries.

The Committee reminds that beneficiaries of the state support program for the customs clearance of temporarily imported vehicles can avail themselves of this service from December 5 to December 30, at the Northern Customs Office, Monday to Saturday, from 08:30 AM to 07:00 PM.

To avoid additional lines and congestion, as well as to ensure proper and prompt service at the Northern Customs Office, the SRC urges citizens to complete their customs formalities as soon as possible and in a timely manner, without waiting until the last days of the deadline.
