The Russian Army Alters Draft Requirements

The Russian Army is changing its draft requirements. The authors of the document believe that not all medical conditions that exempt individuals from military service interfere with the fulfillment of retraining standards, so the list may be reduced.

The document will amend the regulations governing military medical examinations. Specific changes have yet to be announced, but conditions such as flat feet, underweight, and scoliosis may be removed from the list.
