Major Car Accident on Aparan-Hartavan Road: 8 People Hospitalized

At 08:29, the Crisis Management Center of the Aragatsotn Regional Rescue Department received a call reporting a traffic accident at the 4th km of the Kuchak-Shenavan highway, with casualties requiring rescue assistance. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was revealed that at the 13th km of the Aparan-Hartavan highway, vehicles involved in the accident included an “Opel Zafira” (driver: S. M., born in 1986), an “Opel Astra” (driver: A. H., born in 1989), a “GAZ” vehicle (driver: M. V., born in 1976), a “VAZ” vehicle (driver: N. M., born in 1990), and a “MAN” truck (driver: S. T., born in 1981).

Before the arrival of rescuers, the driver of the “VAZ” vehicle and two passengers of the “GAZ” vehicle, N. V. (born in 2004) and G. U. (born in 1991), were hospitalized at a medical center, where their health condition was assessed as stable.

In addition, 5 more citizens were transferred to the medical center due to injuries from the accident.

Rescuers have cordoned off the area, deactivated the vehicles, and closed the valves of gas cylinders.
