Hunter Biden, Son of US President Joe Biden, May Face Court
Hunter Biden, the son of US President Joe Biden, is facing accusations of tax evasion, according to a conclusion reached by a California grand jury. Prosecutors allege that Biden failed to pay $1.4 million in taxes for at least five years, from 2016 to 2020, and submitted false reports.
The jury members emphasized, "From 2016 until October 15, 2020, the defendant spent this money on drugs, escorts and girlfriends, luxury hotels and rental properties, exotic cars, clothing, and other personal items—essentially on everything but taxes."
The indictment consists of a total of nine points. As explained by CNN, special prosecutor David Weiss has been gathering testimonies and evidence related to criminal charges against Hunter Biden in recent weeks. He stated in August that the businessman might face court.
