VIDEO: What is the significance of the "Peace Crossroad"? Pashinyan responds

The Maragar road on the Armenia-Turkey border is a road of the Republic of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in the National Assembly.

“Dozens of settlements benefit from this road, it is the same as asking, ‘What was the need to build the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-Berd or Goris-Kapan road? We are building all roads,’” he said.

Pashinyan mentioned that renovation works are also currently underway in that section.

Speaking about the "Peace Crossroad," the Prime Minister said it is not just an economic calculation, but a much broader and comprehensive project. “It has immense political and security significance, as well as regional significance,” the Prime Minister stated.
