VIDEO: "We Are Not Interested in the Opinion of the Prime Minister of Armenia," Says President of South Ossetia
We are not interested in the opinion of the Prime Minister of Armenia who left Artsakh in a difficult situation. This statement was made by the President of South Ossetia, Alan Gagloyev, commenting on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's recent remarks during a live broadcast, in which he stated that Armenia supports the territorial integrity of Georgia. This was reported by Sputnik South Ossetia.
According to him, Nikol Pashinyan has betrayed his people, and the opinion of the Armenian Prime Minister is not of concern to the people of South Ossetia.
“We respect the Armenian people, with whom we have centuries-old friendly relations, but we are not interested in the opinion of the Armenian Prime Minister who left Artsakh in a difficult situation, betraying his own people who were waiting for help from Armenia,” Gagloyev stated and added, “Pashinyan did not have the courage to recognize the independence of Artsakh; we are not interested in the opinion of such political figures.”
Gagloyev emphasized that South Ossetia is a recognized independent state, and everyone should take this into account.
It is noteworthy that earlier it was reported that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in response to a question about whether Armenia intends to recognize the occupation of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, stated that Armenia recognizes the territorial integrity and independence of Georgia.
