Video: We Expressed Our Position by Not Participating in the CSTO Meeting - Arman Yeghoyan

During a briefing with journalists at the National Assembly, Arman Yeghoyan, a member of the "Civil Contract" faction, commented on the Prime Minister's absence from the CSTO meeting. "What is there to be surprised about, that Pashinyan is not participating in the CSTO meeting? We have expressed our position. What you have suggested is that if you don't participate in several meetings of that organization, you should leave that organization. Is that your logic? The issues we have pointed out regarding that organization necessitate this behavior. The problems related to the CSTO are not just ours; we have voiced issues concerning the organization," he said.

Earlier, we reported that at the initiative of the Belarusian side, a phone conversation took place between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. Pashinyan informed the Belarusian President that he would not be able to attend the meeting and expressed hope that CSTO partners would understand his decision.
