Major Car Accident on Vanadzor-Alaverdi Highway: One Passenger Dead

On December 6, at 21:28, the crisis management center of the Lori regional rescue department received information about an accident at the 11th km of the Vanadzor-Alaverdi highway, reporting casualties and injuries.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a collision occurred between a BMW (driven by V. K., born in 1986) and a KamAZ truck (driven by K. M.).

Before rescuers arrived, the driver of the BMW was transported to a medical center, while the passenger L. D. (born in 1984) died at the scene.

Rescue teams de-energized the vehicles and shut off the gas valve of the BMW's gas cylinder.
