Ministry of Economy Discusses Situation at Upper Lars Customs Checkpoint

On December 1, 2023, a session was held at the initiative of the Ministry of Economy to discuss the situation at the Upper Lars customs checkpoint within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Commission. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.

As a result, from December 2, the Upper Lars customs checkpoint is open to all types of vehicles, including trucks transporting perishable agricultural products. At the same time, it is reported that bilateral working consultations are currently ongoing between representatives of the relevant state authorities in the phytosanitary sector to urgently resolve the issues that have arisen.
