VIDEO: The Situation at Upper Lars - Kherobyan on the Accumulated Vehicles

During the question-and-answer session in the National Assembly, the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Vahan Kherobyan, responded to a question regarding the current situation at the Upper Lars checkpoint, stating that the checkpoint is open.

“Regarding Lars, I can say the following: at this moment, vehicles are primarily passing through the Lars checkpoint. I must mention that the problems have arisen due to enhanced control or supervision. After that situation, we have initiated discussions at several levels on how we can work on solutions to these issues, and I can say that since last Friday, the throughput of vehicles has been restored,” said the minister.

Kherobyan emphasized that products manufactured in Armenia must be of high quality, not only to ensure greater availability in other markets at better prices but also for our own population.
