Three Elections in One Session: What to Expect from December 5
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that the next session of the National Assembly will begin on December 5. The agenda includes 24 items, 12 of which are mandatory for discussion.
Among these mandatory items is the election of a member of the Audit Chamber, a member of the Anti-Corruption Commission, and a member of the Competition Protection Commission. The "Honorary" and "Armenia" factions have jointly nominated Manvel Badalyan, a former chairman of the Civil Service Council, professional, and a lecturer at the Management Academy, as a candidate for the Competition Protection Commission.
Hakov Miranyan has been nominated by the "Civil Contract" faction as a candidate for the Audit Chamber. For the Anti-Corruption Commission, two candidates have been put forward: Narine Avetisyan and Haykuhi Harutyunyan. The latter is currently the president of the commission, while the former is her employee.
Additionally, this will be the last session of the NA, but there may be extraordinary sessions until the end of the year.
