Video: Fire in Kazakhstan Leaves 13 Dead

A fire broke out in one of the hostels in Almaty, Kazakhstan, resulting in 13 fatalities. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the city's emergency situations department.
The alarm about the fire was received early this morning. The fire spread over an area of 30 square meters. At the time of the incident, there were a total of 72 people in the hostel, 59 of whom managed to evacuate the building on their own.
Preliminary reports indicate that the cause of death was carbon monoxide poisoning. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
