Tragic Incident: Body of 83-Year-Old Man Found Dead from Burns in His Yard

On November 29, a tragic incident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 16:00, the Vagharchapat medical center notified the Armenian National Police's Vagharchapat division that a team of emergency doctors had been called to a residence on Aigekortsner Street in the village of Norakert, where they discovered a man's body in the yard.

According to shamshyan.com, police and investigators found the body of 83-year-old Ruben V., a resident of the same house, in the yard. It was revealed that on the same day, around 11:00, Ruben V. had set fire to grass with oil after cleaning the adjacent yard in front of their house. His clothing caught fire, leading to the fatal burns that resulted in his death.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Vagharchapat Investigative Department regarding the incident. By the investigator's decision, a forensic examination of the body has been scheduled.
