Gazelle Driver Dies Suddenly While Driving

A tragic incident occurred in the Kotayk region on November 28. Around 8:00 AM, the Charentsavan Medical Center alerted the police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that an unknown citizen had been transported to them lifeless after an accident near the 'Construction Equipment Factory' in Charentsavan.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group from the Charentsavan police department, led by the duty officer of the day, headed to the hospital. Police determined that the deceased was 70-year-old Seryozha Sarukhanyan, a resident of the Kotayk region.

A group from the Charentsavan investigative department of the Kotayk regional investigative committee also arrived at the alert. Sarukhanyan's relatives informed police and investigators that earlier that day, around 7:55 AM, while driving a Gazelle vehicle servicing the Charentsavan-Yerevan route on Builders Street in Charentsavan, S. Sarukhanyan died suddenly, causing the vehicle to crash into a tree and a stone fence at the roadside.

Following the investigator's order, a forensic examination of the body was appointed. An external examination revealed no signs of violence on the body. Charentsavan police and investigators also located the accident site and the damaged Gazelle.
