Finland Closes Border with Russia
Julya
Finland has closed the last border crossing with Russia, located in the Arctic, named "Raya-Joosepin." This has been reported by international media.
The Finnish government has decided to suspend the operations of all road border crossings with the Russian Federation until December 13. Finnish authorities cite the "uncontrolled influx of migrants into Finland" as the reason for this decision.
Earlier, the press service of the Finnish government announced that all road crossings along the border with Russia would be closed for two weeks starting from midnight in Helsinki.
