Azerbaijan Arrests AbzasMedia Journalist Nargiz Absalamova

Azerbaijan has arrested Nargiz Absalamova, a journalist from AbzasMedia. A criminal case has been opened against her for "illegal border crossing" related to the activities of AbzasMedia.

It is worth noting that the independent outlet Abzas Media has recently published a series of investigations regarding companies belonging to family members of several high-ranking Azerbaijani officials. Previously, Ulvi Hasanli, the head of Abzas Media, was also arrested, facing charges of "currency smuggling."
