Billionaire Elon Musk used vulgar language towards advertisers during an interview at a conference hosted by The New York Times. Major companies have started to pull their advertising from X, the social network owned by Musk, after he expressed support for an anti-Semitic post.

The businessman himself labeled the comment as perhaps the worst in the history of his posts on social media, which, as he admitted, included many "dumb" ones.

In response to a question about the boycott by advertisers, the owner of X stated that companies that have stopped advertising on the platform might not return. He referred to their actions as "blackmail." He added, "If someone is trying to blackmail me with advertising, with money—go deceive yourselves."
