VIDEO: Discussion on Smoke Emitted from Barbecue Chimneys
MP Mikhail Tumasyan inquired from Petros Martirosyan, the head of the coordination office of inspection bodies at the Prime Minister's Office, during a discussion on amendments and additions to the "Law on Atmospheric Air Protection" whether there are regulations regarding the smoke emitted from barbecues, particularly in the capital and other food establishments.
"There are numerous complaints and concerns from residents, especially when located near multi-storey buildings," said Petros Martirosyan.
He responded that there are regulations concerning non-food establishments. "Yes, if there is a complaint, the damage can indeed be assessed according to the law on atmospheric air protection, and accordingly, measures can be implemented," he stated.
