Moscow Court Issues Wanted Notice for Singer Jamala

A Moscow court has issued a warrant for the arrest of Ukrainian singer Jamala in connection with the dissemination of false information regarding the Russian armed forces, TASS reports.

Previously, a wanted notice was declared against Jamala, winner of the "Eurovision 2016" song contest and of Armenian descent, under a criminal charge. This information is noted in the search database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

In April 2022, Jamala was listed among Ukrainian artists who have been banned from entering Russia for 50 years.
