The world's largest iceberg, A23a, may collapse soon. It broke off from Antarctica back in 1986 and has been trapped in a swamp for over 30 years. Now, it has entered open waters of the Southern Ocean.

Currently, the surface area of A23a is approximately 4,170 square kilometers, which is more than twice the area of St. Petersburg, as reported by Russian media. The photo has been published by the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute.
