Because of the heavy snowfall, the Russia-Georgia border has been shut for almost a day. Yesterday, drivers who became "hostages" due to the heavy snow had to spend the night in their vehicles.

It has been reported that snow removal equipment has been brought to the crossing. "Witnesses say they have seen three special vehicles, which has brought them much joy, as the traffic jam has now extended over four kilometers, and people are quite exhausted," the outlet wrote.
