New Details on the Corruption Case Involving the Head of Yerevan Garrison Hospital and 13 Others

The preliminary investigation has been completed regarding the head of the Yerevan garrison hospital and 13 others accused of receiving a bribe of around $7,000. The head of the state institution 'Yerevan Garrison Hospital', along with other staff, exploited their official powers to carry out illegal actions benefiting conscripts, regularly receiving various amounts of bribes from the relatives and close ones of these conscripts.

Soldiers were provided with misleading diagnoses, based on which they were either hospitalized or declared unfit for service, leading to their premature discharge. This information was reported by the Anti-Corruption Committee.
