Video: Flights Canceled and Delayed at Three Airports in Moscow
In Moscow's three airports—Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Sheremetyevo—at least 35 flights have been delayed and four have been canceled due to snowfall. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
As of 07:24 Moscow time (08:24 Yerevan time), 14 flights had been delayed at Vnukovo, three were canceled, 14 flights were delayed at Domodedovo, and one was canceled. Sheremetyevo experienced delays of seven flights.
Due to heavy snow, residents of Moscow have been advised to postpone travel by car. The city's transport department noted that there are trucks stranded on some roads.
According to the Phobos weather center, Moscow received 35 percent of the normal monthly precipitation in just one day.
According to the Zvartnots Airport website, there are currently no delays or cancellations for flights to Moscow.
