VIDEO: Heavy Rainfalls and Storms in Turkey, Casualties Reported

During the weekend, two people were killed and ten others injured in Turkey due to storms and heavy rainfall, the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported on Sunday.

In Izmir, the storm caused the sea to overflow its banks, flooding several areas. Meanwhile, in Istanbul, temperatures dropped by as much as 10 degrees.

The Turkish authorities declared an 'orange' warning level in 47 of the country’s 81 provinces and a 'yellow' level in an additional 29 provinces due to adverse weather conditions.
